Leading the technology team at Luxembourg National Data Service, I oversee the design, development, and operation of data infrastructure that enables secure secondary use of public sector data. Our work focuses on building trustable platforms for data sharing, implementing FAIR data principles, and supporting Luxembourg's digital transformation strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a multidisciplinary team of data, software, DevOps, security, and infrastructure engineers
  • Architecting secure processing environments and federated data access platforms
  • Overseeing development of data services including cataloguing, pseudonymization, and synthetic data generation
  • Contributing to European data space initiatives and the European Health Data Space
  • Establishing partnerships with organizations like DFKI for AI collaboration and ERTICO for smart mobility
  • Ensuring data protection by design and GDPR compliance across all technical solutions
